A year later, it became one of the first Czech manufacturers to develop lightweight, double-walled tents for hiking and mountaineering. Over nearly two decades, the Pinguin product range has expanded significantly to cover a wide variety of outdoor gear and apparel.

Years ago, the company made a highly successful move by choosing the Japanese Gelanots membrane for its functional apparel. In newer models, they utilize the ACD membrane, which has formed the core of the brand’s waterproof and breathable clothing line for several years due to its premium quality and high technical specifications.
