Universal Gas Cartridge for Camping Stoves

Pinguin Travel Gas 230 g is a threaded gas cartridge designed for everyday outdoor cooking. Thanks to the EN417 thread, it is compatible with most camping stoves, cooking systems and remote cartridge stoves using the same type of connection.

Practical 230 g Size

The 230 g gas fill offers an ideal balance between weight, packability and burn time. It is a practical choice for weekend trips, multi-day hikes, trekking, bikepacking and camping.

Compared to smaller cartridges, it provides a longer burn time while still remaining compact enough to pack easily into a backpack or camping setup.

Reliable Three-Season Gas Mix

The propane, n-butane and isobutane mix is suitable for three-season use and regular cooking in cooler outdoor conditions. The cartridge delivers very good performance above freezing and can also be used in mild sub-zero temperatures, approximately down to −5 °C.

At lower temperatures, performance may gradually decrease, especially when the cartridge is partly empty. For winter trips and longer cooking in cold conditions, we recommend choosing the Pinguin Winter Performance gas cartridge.

When cooking with larger cookware, we recommend using a cartridge stand to increase stability.
