A spacious and lightweight semi-geodetic tent with very good wind stability, suitable for climbing, hiking and anyone who appreciates its rigid construction with three poles and four crossing points. It has an exceptionally spacious vestibule and is low weight.
The flysheet is made of Polyester with a polyurethane coating, guaranteeing a water column of 4,000 mm. The seams have waterproof tape. The groundsheet is made of Nylon with a Polyurethane coating giving a water column of 10,000 mm.
The poles are made up of duralumin segments (7001 T6) with a diameter of 9.5 mm.

The tent is double-skinned consisting of an inner tent and flysheet. The inner tent has a trapezoidal floor plan with one entrance. The tent has a spacious vestibule with two entrances. The vestibule can be used to store packs, etc. or to provide a windbreak when cooking. The tent concept is based on the principle of a pole structure threaded through sleeves on the outside of the flysheet.
The flysheet and inner tent (which is suspended under the flysheet) are erected at the same time after threading the poles through the sleeves. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be detached from the flysheet and the flysheet can then be erected separately. This creates a single-skin tent without a groundsheet.
There is a vent at the top of the flysheet. Vent covers are designed so that they are not affected by the wind and can be closed with Velcro fasteners if necessary. This prevents leaks during rain with strong winds.
Pitching the tent
Push the poles through the sleeves on the outside of the flysheet and insert the ends of the poles into the brass eyelets on the straps on the lower edge of the flysheet. Then fasten the buckles on the straps near the ground inside the tent and the flysheet will stand. The inner tent is attached to the loops on the inside of the flysheet. Anchor the erected tent with pegs and guy ropes and tighten with the plastic buckles.

Česká Republika - 1989
Patří mezi nejstarší české výrobce outdoorového a campingového vybavení, její historie sahá do roku 1989, kdy se na českém trhu objevují první výrobky s touto značkou. Na samotném začátku se jednalo o tehdy velmi úspěšný peřový program zahrnující spací pytle a peřové bundy, o rok později firma začíná jako jeden z prvních českých výrobců s vývojem lehkých dvouplášťových stanů pro turistiku a horolezectví. Za téměř dvě desetiletí se sortiment výrobků značky Pinguin značně rozrostl na široký záběr outdoorového vybavení a oblečení.
Díky své stabilně vysoké kvalitě získala mimořádnou oblibu především ucelená nabídka stanů, která zahrnuje několik tříd a úrovní použití, počínaje stany konstruovanými pro extrémní zátěž vysokohorských expedic a stany pro rodinné kempování konče.
Velmi dobrou pozici na trhu si vybudovaly také spacáky Pinguin určené jak pro běžné outdoorové aktivity, tak pro extremní použití, nabídku vybavení do přírody doplňuje řada turistických batohů. Značka Pinguin se stále častěji prosazuje též prostřednictvím neustále se vyvíjející a rozšiřující nabídky membránového a softshellového oblečení. Jako velmi úspěšný tah dnes firma hodnotí, že před časem při výběru funkčního materiálu vsadila na japonskou membránu Gelanots a u novějších modelů používá membránu ACD, která díky své kvalitě a vysokým technickým parametrům tvoří již několik let jádro výrobního programu nepromokavého prodyšného oblečení této značky.
