Some of our customers don’t want to hear about synthetic insulation. Whatever the reason, we’re not here to judge. What we want and strive for is a satisfied customer, which is why we created the Hill, an alternative to the Glimmer jacket, but with natural down insulation.

It doesn’t matter if you wear it to town, when out shopping, in the woods with your dog or climbing peaks, all that matters is that it makes you feel great whatever the conditions. T

Technology supporting performance

The outer layer is made of Nylon Featherlite RipStop DWR, which is a densely woven, very lightweight and breathable fabric made of Nylon with a durable (RipStop) and water repellent (DWR) coating. Thanks to the tightly woven fibres, it blocks even very strong winds, while allowing your body to breathe freely.

RipStop coating ensures that if you rip the jacket, it will not tear further, but will stop on one of the regularly placed thicker threads.

DWR is a surface treatment for fabric that increases its resistance to external factors such as moisture or dust.

Down is one of the best natural insulators in the world. We fill our Hill jackets with duck down to 650 CUIN. The down is mixed with small feathers in a ratio of 90/10 - this is because the small feathers are flexible and help retain the fluffiness of the material (Loft).
