Peak Short NX

The Peak Short NX is a shortened self-inflating sleeping pad designed for minimalists, bikepackers, and anyone looking to reduce the weight and packed size of their gear to an absolute minimum.

The pad supports the torso and hips, the areas that have the greatest impact on sleeping comfort. Thanks to its shortened design, it offers exceptional packability and low weight, while your legs can be supported by a backpack, spare clothing, or other equipment. This approach is widely used by experienced long-distance hikers and ultralight adventurers around the world.

Its single-layer construction with wide horizontal chambers helps minimize weight while maintaining good thermal comfort. Once inflated, the chambers form a comfortable wave-shaped surface that improves sleeping comfort.

The brushed top fabric increases friction and helps prevent your sleeping bag from sliding off the pad during the night.

The self-inflating foam core expands automatically to approximately 60% of the pad's full volume. The remaining air can be added by mouth or with an Air Bag to achieve your preferred firmness. We do not recommend using pumps, as overinflation may damage the sleeping pad.

A dual layer flat valve with a check valve for easier inflation/deflation and regulation of sleeping pad pressure.

After opening the valve’s upper layer, you can easily inflate the sleeping pad without losing pressure thanks to the check valve. By pushing the check valve, pad pressure can be gently regulated. When the second layer is opened, the valve is fully open and the sleeping pad can be easily deflated.
