Compact folding trekking poles for easy transport

Pinguin Compact FL Foam are folding trekking poles designed for hikers who need reliable support in the outdoors without taking up unnecessary space in their backpack. Thanks to their folding construction, they pack down to just 36 cm and can be easily carried in a smaller backpack or travel bag.

The pole length can be adjusted from 110 to 130 cm, making them suitable for regular hiking, mountain trips and year-round outdoor use.

Quick adjustment with the Fast Lock mechanism

The upper telescopic section allows the pole length to be adjusted easily. A Fast Lock mechanism with a durable aluminium lever provides quick and secure locking. Length markings help you set both poles to the same height.

The folding sections are connected by a Kevlar cord running inside a protective sleeve, allowing the poles to be assembled and folded quickly.

Comfortable grip in varied terrain

The extended EVA foam grips are comfortable to hold, provide a secure grip and help reduce vibrations. On steep climbs or when traversing a slope, you can simply move your hands lower on the grips without adjusting the pole length. Adjustable wrist straps provide additional comfort and control.

The sections are made from strong 7075 aluminium alloy and feature a coloured anodised finish that improves their resistance to mechanical wear and weather conditions.

Durable tungsten carbide tips provide reliable support on natural surfaces. The package also includes two pairs of interchangeable baskets:

• ultralight 53 mm baskets for regular hiking and firm or hard-packed terrain,
• 80 mm baskets for soft ground and snow.

The baskets are attached using a threaded fitting, allowing them to be changed easily according to the terrain and current conditions.

Assembly

As customers are sometimes unsure how to assemble the poles correctly, we have prepared a video showing the proper procedure.

Pole adjustment

We also occasionally receive warranty claims for issues that can be easily adjusted at home. We have therefore prepared videos showing what to do when the locking mechanism is too loose or, conversely, so tight that the poles cannot be secured in the extended position.

The issue can be resolved by adjusting the plastic screw in the final pole section.
