Czech Republic - 1989
As one of the oldest Czech manufacturers of outdoor and camping equipment, its history dates back to 1989, when the first products under this brand appeared on the Czech market. Pinguin sleeping bags have also secured a strong market position, designed for both casual outdoor activities and extreme conditions. This outdoor gear selection is further complemented by a series of hiking backpacks. Additionally, the Pinguin brand is increasingly making a name for itself through its continuously evolving and expanding line of membrane and softshell clothing. Years ago, the company made a highly successful move by choosing the Japanese Gelanots membrane for its functional apparel. In newer models, they utilize the ACD membrane, which has formed the core of the brand’s waterproof and breathable clothing line for several years due to its premium quality and high technical specifications.
