Lightweight trekking poles for year-round hiking

Pinguin Light TL Foam are lightweight three-section trekking poles designed for regular hiking, mountain trips, demanding trekking and longer walks. At only 190 g per pole, they help reduce fatigue while providing the strength and stability needed when moving through varied terrain.

The upper section is made from lightweight 7001 aluminium alloy, while the lower sections use strong 7075 aluminium alloy. This combination keeps the overall weight low while maintaining a durable construction suitable for regular use.

Easy adjustment with Twist Lock mechanisms

The length can be adjusted from 66 to 136 cm using two Twist Lock mechanisms. Length markings on the lower sections make it easier to set both poles to the same height.

The three-section telescopic construction allows the poles to be shortened after use and easily attached to a backpack. Adjustable wrist straps improve grip security and help transfer part of the load from the hands to the wrists.

Extended grips for varied terrain

The extended EVA foam grips do not absorb moisture, provide a secure hold and help reduce vibrations. On steep climbs or when traversing a slope, you can simply change your hand position without repeatedly adjusting the pole length.

The pole sections are coloured anodised. This surface treatment improves the aluminium’s resistance to mechanical wear and weather conditions.

Baskets for different conditions

The package includes two pairs of interchangeable baskets:

• ultralight 53 mm baskets for regular hiking and firm or hard-packed terrain,
• 80 mm baskets for soft ground and snow.

Durable tungsten carbide tips provide reliable support on natural surfaces. Rubber tip protectors help reduce vibration and noise when walking on asphalt and other hard surfaces.
